Like a mature tree the strength of wisdom of Elders provides shade, sustenance and shelter. Within the appearance of aging and death, Elders have the audacity and awareness of collective need to bloom again and again. 

Because all basic needs are provided for everyone, Elders live in trust and confidence that as their body ages support as needed is given. There is ease in aging as well as a joyous flow of interaction with people of all ages that provides a healthy and engaging mixture of giving and receiving within the flow of life.

The frailty of Elders is held tenderly and supports are given to allow them to bring forward fully their gifts. Elders are immersed in the vibrant mosaic of life, a vital part of the ever-moving colors and components of existence.

We acknowledge and mourn capacity shifts together.People are supported as life changes the body, new meaning making is generated within the community so that as the body changes there is a knowing that we matter, no matter what age we are, that we are relevant.

And as death approaches each of us, we are surrounded by our beloved community who love and accompany us as we gently release our hold on life, surrendering to the mystery with dignity and trust.
